So – My wife and I have been praying over what to give for relief in Japan, who to give to, all that jazz. And God came through in a big way! See, our company is willing to match dollar for dollar up to a certain amount for a few organizations. So, being that the organizations they will match for are reputable, and a couple were ones we were considering, we are going to go that route. And suddenly you see our donation multiply, and God can use that in powerful ways! Praise him for that!
I wanted to take a moment here, to list out just a few good organizations that you might consider giving to. Many of you may already have given – which is super cool. You’re faster than we are. Many of you may not have, or may not even want to – that is cool too. But if you have been considering where to give, or how to help, this may be somewhat helpful. So here goes:
On each of these pages, you’ll find info about how they are helping, and how to donate. These are just a small few, I’m sure there are more. In fact – I’d encourage anyone to comment on this post with other options – even the ones where you can send a text and your provider will charge you $10 – you’d be amazed at how quickly those dollars add up! And thank you and God bless you for your giving heart!
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’”
