But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so (James 3:8-10)
How does one tame the tongue? Maybe guard your heart? Maybe be anxious in nothing, but in all things, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving give your requests to God? And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard you heart in Christ Jesus?
Out of the heart, the mouth speaks. Don’t attempt to tame the tongue – check your heart….
